About Us

Where do we even begin, well how about a hello to our travel website, Laura and Ollie. We are just a normal(ish) couple from the UK looking to explore most of the world by the time we are 30. Now 30 might be five years away, but apparently, the world is a pretty big place and takes a while to get around.

We set off on our adventure on the 16th of September 2018 and have not looked back since. So what makes us different you may be asking. We are just an average couple looking to experience the world at our pace and our way, and we want to share our experiences with you whether they are good or bad.

We hope you can explore our website and get some helpful tips and tricks for your travels or holidays and why not share your holiday snaps with us, and we love to see where and what you get up to, it might even inspire us to visit there soon.

Drum roll please, introducing Ollie! Not going to lie, this sounded much better in my head while I will was typing this! Anyways, hello, I’m Ollie.

I am going to keep this short and sweet as trust me there are a lot more interesting articles on this website other than reading about me unless you’re my mum, then in which case carry on.

I am the other half to Laura & Ollie, the second half as she might say as Laura instead on having our domain name with her name first, trust me guys just let the women win sometimes it does make life so much easier. I am just a regular guy from a place called Surrey in England, its cold, wet, remote and quite dull if you compare it to pretty much everywhere else but its home.

Three years ago I could only dream of travelling. Money was tight (still is), work was taking over my life and trying to run two business at once at the age of 22 was near impossible. But then Laura came into the picture, and things turned around for the better. I never even had the thought of going travelling yet alone for this long, but it is with our doubt the best thing I have ever done.
